The Importance of Special Events:
As a nonprofit organization, our special events and the funds and awareness raised through them are crucial for sustaining our many programs here at the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter. Be sure to follow our calendar below or keep an eye on YVAS’s Facebook page for all of our fun, upcoming events!
Adoption Events:
We partner with Petsmart Billings West Store to organize four off-site adoption events per year. We are unable to offer other off-site adoption events at this time. We may be able to bring an adoptable animal or a Shelter Ambassador Animal to your event as schedules allow.
While our adoption events are limited, we are proud to report that animals at the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter have great visibility in the community and find their new homes very quickly. Our cats’ length of stay is an average of seven (7) days in the shelter, whereas dogs’ length of stay is an average of five (5) days before being adopted to their new homes.
Fundraise for YVAS:
