Poppi is still waiting for the world to slow down enough for her to figure it out. She’s a very shy Border Collie who hasn’t experienced much of life yet, and honestly? She’s not looking for a thrill-seeking adventure buddy. She’s looking for a safe place to land. Poppi would love a confident dog friend who can show her the ropes, and a human who understands that trust isn’t something you can rush. Give her time. Give her space. Give her permission to hide behind your legs while you work at your desk, or curl up beside you on the couch while she listens to the world around her. And she will sit there. Quietly. No demands, no drama.. just a little girl with a racing heart, waiting for it to realize that she’s safe. Poppi may take some time to warm up to her people, but once she decides you’re hers? Congratulations! You have acquired a shadow. She’ll follow you, sit near you, and quietly keep you company wherever you go.
