Meet Frankie, a charming 4-year-old Black Lab German Shepherd mix, who will be celebrating his 5th birthday this October! Frankie is an outdoor enthusiast who adores playtime, especially a good game of fetch. He thrives on attention and will happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. While he might be a little reserved when meeting new people, once he warms up, he’s incredibly close and affectionate.
Frankie can be a bit of a goofball, but don’t let that fool you—he’s a loyal protector of his home. He’ll be sure to alert you with a bark at any unfamiliar noise or passerby, though it’s mostly a tough dog act! He’s neutered and has grown up around other dogs and cats. We’ve noticed he’s not always the best fit with older male dogs, but he’s wonderful with puppies and other female dogs.
