Moka is a sweet girl who loves being with her people. She seems to like people however she has not been around children as far as we know. Her favorite place to be is at home. She is a genuine couch potato and loves nothing more than snuggling. I can’t seem to get my photos to upload but she is a beautiful tricolored American bulldog brown, tan and white. She did have to have one eye removed before we adopted her. We adopted her three months ago and in that time have struggled with her getting along with one of our other dogs and resource guarding. This means that she is spending more time alone than we think is good for her. In the time that we have had her we feel like maybe she was not socialized in her previous home as most things seem new to her and she is not sure how to react.
We think she would do well in a low-key home with someone who is familiar with this breed and can provide the consistency and structure that they need. Because she is exhibiting resource guarding, a home where she is the only dog might be the best choice. She has been going to E collar training and is doing well but she is a stubborn girl as is typical of her breed. She has also been going to doggy daycare so that she can get experience being around other dogs and so far it’s going well. She is housebroken, non-destructive and very quiet. We are happy to talk about all our experiences that we have had with her over the past three months. We would really just love to find her a place where she could be a full member of a loving family and unfortunately that is not our home at this time.
