This sweet girl has come to need a new home. Her owners have had her since she was a puppy in 2018 and old age crept up on them faster than expected. They are frail and her energy level has become a concern with their replaced hips and general slowing down in their mid-eighties. I am helping them find her the perfect new family and it’s not a responsibility I am taking lightly.

An 8yo Wire Haired Pointing Griffon, this sweet girl goes by Payton but will also come running to anything you call her if you’re genuinely happy to see her. She scores 12/10 for being good natured with all dog lovers.
The cons:
*She has recently started to get into aggressive altercations with other female dogs.
*She can be food aggressive around other dogs.
*She has a ton of energy and needs to be able to run and play most every day to run some of it off.
*She won’t make a hunting dog because loud noises make her very timid and wary.
*WPGs are a shedding breed.
*Her coat is best if brushed a couple times a week and she needs to be groomed every few months.
If you can get past those things here are the reasons she’s one of the very best GOOD GIRLS.
The pros:
*She is very sweet, loyal and loving.
*She is ALWAYS ready to go on an adventure.
*She loves to play fetch and catch, especially in the river and is a very strong swimmer.
*She has had a lot of obedience training, is very smart and wants to please people.
*She is house and kennel trained.
*She is up to date on all vaccines and recently had a great check up with her vet.
*She has a built in pet sitter if I am available when you travel.
