Thor is a handsome 1-year-old Shepsky weighing about 65 pounds. He’s an intelligent, athletic young dog with a fun-loving personality that’s equal parts goofy, independent, and affectionate. Whether he’s hiking a mountain trail, splashing in the water, or relaxing at home with his favorite people, Thor is happiest when he’s included in the adventure.
Thor has a higher energy level and will thrive with an active owner who enjoys spending time outdoors, but he also has an excellent off-switch and loves to cuddle and simply hang out after a day of fun. He is professionally obedience trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and ready for his forever home.
Thor is looking for a patient, understanding family. He can be fearful of adult men and is somewhat cautious around new people, so he’ll need someone willing to let him build trust at his own pace. Because his compatibility with other animals is unknown, we feel he’d do best as the only pet in a home without cats, where he can receive all the attention and guidance he deserves.
