Hello, my name Zona. My mom found me on a reservation in Arizona about 6 years ago, and that’s how I got my name! Moms trying to find me a home that suits me better and can offer me what I deserve. A lot has changed in a few years for us and my love for life isn’t quite what it use to be due to our circumstances.
Zona is a phenomenal dog, truly – that deserves so much more than I am able to provide for her. She loves to spend her time being as close to her people as possible, lounging in the sun or being out and about. She is as loyal as they come, obedient and super smart. She would do best in quieter calm household, does great with cats / other dogs are questionable. I think with a low energy mellow dog she would do okay. Zona does not particularly love small children – she will tolerate them as long as she’s not being pulled/crawled on. I think she would make a great companion for a single person. I’ve never had issues with her tearing things up, or going potty in the house therefore she’s never been kenneled.
I would consider a small-medium sized dog (knee high). She is about 25-30 lbs overweight.
Zona is here at no fault of her own. She has become very depressed over the last few years since life has changed so much for us and I see her quality of life slowly declining by the day. It breaks my heart for her, because she really deserves so much more. I’d love for her to spend her last years getting nothing but the absolute best with more attention and love then she knows what to do with.
