In need of mousers? We’ve got the perfect cats for the job!

We’ll be at Shipton’s Big R West from 11am-2pm with working cats ready to go! All of these cats are already spayed/neutered, vaccinated and ear notched. We hope to offer these working cat events monthly, but if you aren’t able to make it to the event, you’re welcome to call the shelter anytime to see if we have working cats available. We almost always have some that are looking for barns of their own!

Our Working Cat Program is designed to create a mutually beneficial partnership for at-risk cats and humans needing rodent control. Our working cats are ideal residents for all kinds of locations such as barns, stables, warehouses, shops, arenas, breweries, garden centers, chicken runs, etc. While they may not make ideal house cats, they can make for great mousers!
