Older animals have much to offer and make some of the best companions! Here at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter, we believe that just as animals of all ages should have loving companions, so should people.
Our Seniors Adopting Seniors Program helps place senior dogs and cats, who are 8 years of age or older, in homes with senior citizens who are 65 years of age or older. Senior adopters will receive an age-based discount off of adoption fees when adopting a senior animal. For example, if someone 65 years old decides to adopt an animal, that person would receive 65% off the adoption fee of a senior animal.
